Four Trekkers supported the Low Vision Roadshow this year at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
Around 80 people came to the event many of whom came to visit us on the Tandem Trekkers stand including both visually impaired people looking for ideas, and from other service providers at the event supporting the VI and wider community. This included Outlookers, Kirklees council and the NHS as well as other charities such as ours.
There was a lot of interest from a number of local service providers who understood the benefits of how our our little club can contribute to improving physical heath and fitness, as well as improving mental health and wellbeing for potential pilots and stokers.
A great event and one which we look forward to supporting again next year.
