6 tandems and a solo bike trekked 35 kilometres from Stamford Bridge (the village in the East Riding, not Chlelsea FC!). We encountered chilly fingers, spots of rain, sunshine, gusts of wind, quick sand, farm tracks and grumpy policemen and managed to negotiate them all without any mishaps.
The route was really great, beautiful spring colours and rural scenery.
There was a good mix of short sharp hills and flat sections, smooth new road surfaces as well as minefields of potholes.
All in all an interesting , enjoyable and varied ride.
