Boroughbridge – 13 Sept 25

Things couldn’t have gone smoother for the four tandems and a solo cruising the quiet country lanes around Boroughbridge on Saturday.

Mark and Martin cycling past green fields surrounded by trees.

Moreover, the relatively small number of bikes coupled with the collective experience of riders, conspired to ensure the setting of a good steady pace, and a timely return to Boroughbridge in order to hit the Fish and Chip cafe or visit one of the town’s sandwich selling delis.

A wooden bridge with diamond shaped railings, tandems cycle off on the other side, into the distance on a very straight (Roman) road.

What a great route, and definitely one we’d like to come back to!
