Clean Up day – 06 Dec 25

Today, 14 sighted pilots, 6 visually impaired stokers, 2 guide dogs and one pup in training managed to get through 21 mince pies, 19 florentines, 6 corned beef tarts and the best part of 3 tubs of crispy mini treats.

Guidedogs Taya, Viking and Beth (pup) looking like three handsome friends sat infront of their owners. Taya and Beth are black labradors, Viking is a golden labrador.

Despite the mass gorging of food and warm drinks, 21 bikes were cleaned checked and parked up ready for next year.

Only a very small list of jobs remain that will be tackled over the winter and we should be ready to go next year.

My most thorough and personal thanks to all involved, this annual clean up goes a long way to keeping our fleet operational and is an opportunity to spot issues.  And thanks to all who took an interest in 77 the speed bike I brought along.

Jules tries out the 77, a blue torpedo shaped shell on a recumbent bike so Jules is nearly laid down with her legs covered by the shell.
