Interested in joining Trekkers?
Whether you would like to come along as a volunteer pilot or visually impaired stoker, we really would like to meet you.
We have a short induction programme for everyone who joins us where we run through what’s involved riding a tandem with a fully sighted pilot (front-rider) and a blind or visually impaired stoker (back-rider).
Indeed, we ask that all first time riders, pilots and stokers, with Trekkers, initially come to a track session. These are normally (but not always) held on the first Saturday of every month from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. Venues vary – but they are always carried out at an off-road cycle track. You’ll find details of our planned rides and sessions here.
That said, if you can’t make any upcoming track session, don’t worry! We’ll always do our very best to make an alternative arrangement.

If you do decide to come along and have a go, please let us know and we’ll look out for you. And it would help us if you could print off and bring along with you a copy of our membership form which you can download here. But please only fill in the first three sections down to Emergency Contact Details. We’ll complete the rest when we meet.
