Today, 7 tandems were out. We were lucky to have 2 quite new pilots out with us, Rayyah and Marie-Anne, giving us a really powerful female majority. We had 4 female pilots and 4 female stokers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we got to Birkin fisheries the place was decorated for halloween but I don’t think we added much to the scare factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A trio of ghouls, or may be just Katie, Muz and Steve stood in a Halloween frame big enough to stand in, decorated with pumpkins and ghosts.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The sun was shining and the sky was blue, as it usually is for the Birkin ride, but the wind was a bit fierce at times, making it feel Baltic at  some points. We didn’t hang about and completed the route at a good pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was not the weather for lounging about eating ice-cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
