\u201cWhat – only five bikes out on a glorious day like today!\u201d sparked the discussion. \u201cRail strikes, buses not running, holidays, building human powered torpedoes, family triathlons, cricket and maybe a bit of Omicron Mark II\u201d were all advanced as possible explanations. \u201cQuality not quantity\u201d, concluded Aisha. No-one disagreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All five bikes powered up the full length of the Greenway to Low Moor, before a gravity assisted return to the cafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To borrow Wallace\u2019s catch-all word to capture a truly grand morning: \u201cSplendid\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
