About Tandem Trekkers-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Tandem Trekkers was established in 2014  dedicated to providing tandem riding for blind and visually impaired cyclists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


We successfully applied to the Charity Commission and became a registered charity in October 2017. (Registered Charity Number 1175326).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our core membership today numbers some 70 riders and we warmly welcome new pilots, stokers and supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We manage our own fleet of just over 20 tandems which is boosted by the fact that several of our members ride their own bikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We predominantly use JD Tandem Orbit’s, which are comfortable, reliable. We have a variety of sizing available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a fantastic selection of rides and events planned throughout the ride calendar<\/a>. From local rides out of our HQ in Mirfield, to days out on the coast. We have an annual residential which is a lovely weekend of wellbeing, excise and socialising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our main aim is to provide fun, support, exercise and wellbeing opportunties to Visually Impaired (VI) and Blind people, however all member and supporters can get a lot out of being part of the TT group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have socials, fundraising, networking, education and training amongst our usual cycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
